Position Overview:

Zynga is seeking a dynamic Experience Designer to join their team. This role is responsible for crafting user-centered design solutions that promote ease of use, employ excellent game and interaction design, and optimize the user experience. Responsibilities include all phases of the design process: conceptual development, graphic and interface design, interaction models, prototypes, user/task flows, and art production. The Experience Designer will work closely with the UX Lead to maintain the game's visual integrity, interaction methods, brand standards, and consistency, while collaborating with engineering teams to execute the designs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Employ immersive storytelling and user-centered design to deliver high-quality interactive game experiences.
  • Evaluate designs quickly and produce creative, high-quality work.
  • Possess a solid foundation in visual design principles, style guidelines, design processes, and creative workflows.
  • Execute UI designs and integrate production assets.
  • Create rapid prototypes, including MVP/clickthrough prototypes for internal validation.
  • Work with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Principle, and Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite.
  • Design for multiple devices and platforms.
  • Learn new game development tools like Unity and understand game metrics.
  • Build Design Systems and Prototyping frameworks.
  • Independently solve design problems and present design concepts.
  • Support design decisions based on practical UX best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that user experiences reflect player needs and maintain consistency.

What You Bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in UX Design.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles and solid design skills.
  • Expertise in gathering data, conducting competitive analysis, developing information architecture, usability evaluation, and interaction design.
  • Ability to co-create specifications and contribute to product strategies and new features.
  • Proficiency in conducting user research.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and team player mentality.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and establish and follow objectives (OKRs).
  • Capability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to promoting UX best practices and improving design patterns.
  • Knowledge or experience with Unity 3D and motion design is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Real passion for gaming.
